1. RENEW THE COLOR (AND THE BEDDING)
Would you like to add a touch of color to your bedroom with white walls? Bet on another neutral so that the luminosity does not suffer: beige and soft gray top the list of trends. With any of them, you will highlight the presence of moldings on the ceiling. And already put, new bedding: sheets, bedspreads, duvet covers, or plaids in linen, cotton, and wool will bring you up to date.
2. ADD TEXTURE TO THE WALLS
If you love the range of browns, beans, ocher, chocolates…, then you will sigh when you see this bedroom decorated. The interior designer has used them even on the cladding! Although it looks like a fabric, it is Japanese paper that renews and enhances the headboard wall and, also, gives it texture. The ceramic pendant lamp gives a modern touch.
3. FOCUS ATTENTION ON BED
Again the wooden slats are the protagonists but now in the headboard. They have been chosen by the interior designer to give a touch of attention to this part of the bed. Check out the fabulous gold ceiling lamps and the play of lights that are reflected on the wall. Don’t you think they are magical? Choose bedding in green tones and fiber pieces and you will achieve that trendy eco atmosphere.
4. ENRICH THE HEADBOARD
Do you have a plain upholstered headboard but sometimes you look at it and find it bland? Decorate it with tufted, frame it with an upholstered structure, or embellish it with studs. The interior designers have enhanced their presence with wallpaper with plant motifs, supercurrent.
5. INCORPORATE PLANTS
The houseplants enrich any room, including the bedroom. You can put them in a corner near the window or on the terrace, next to the glass. Thus, the first thing you will see when you raise the blind is its intense green. In addition to updating your room with its presence, add a bench at the foot of the bed, like this one upholstered with the same fabric as the headboard. Total harmony!
6. GET AN OBJECT OF DESIRE
Do you dream of a designer armchair, a signature lamp, or a creative rug? Add them to your bedroom and create a fabulous reading corner, as the interior designer has done here. Few pieces, but chosen, achieve a resounding change, in a minimalist and very modern key.
7. COMBINE PAPER AND PAINT
The interior designer summarizes in this project everything you can do to update your bedroom. We review: upholstered headboards, striped curtains, wallpaper with print botanical, plants, sinfonier straight lines, round mirror, bed well dressed, apply modern … Anything else? Yes, a very decorative false wainscot, in reality, it is just a molding that separates paper and paint, but what does it make of it?
8. DESIGN A DESK TO SUIT YOU
Do you need a desk in your bedroom? Well, believe it! Place a wooden board under the window and you will have changed its look in a jiffy! They have accompanied it with an armchair that does not take too much space from the room. Textured wallpaper and cement stools also help in updating it.
