Just a short walk from the iconic Lotus Temple, the home translates the symbolism of the sacred lotus — serenity rising from chaos — into an architectural language of balance and elegance.
Designed for a young family of three, the residence embodies budget luxury, merging bespoke detailing with compact efficiency. Each space celebrates soft light, airy proportions, and a palette of warm neutrals infused with refined textures.
Concept & Design Ethos
Casa Loto unfolds across three levels, each layer articulating a distinct dimension of family life — communal, private, and celebratory.
The design ethos reflects Unorthodox Designs’ belief in human-scaled luxury: elegant but approachable, tailored yet timeless.
Soft tropical wallpapers, veined stone veneers, and light moldings create a sophisticated canvas that balances urban energy with residential calm.
Natural light filters through wide openings and mirrors the rhythm of the day, emphasizing the home’s spatial fluidity.
Spatial Organization
First Floor — The Social Core
The first level serves as the heart of the home, housing a vibrant living room, a spacious dining niche, and a modern open kitchen.
This duplex layout creates an intuitive flow that supports both intimate family moments and larger gatherings.
Large windows frame views of the Lotus Temple, allowing the spiritual symbol to become a daily presence within the home.
Second Floor — Private Sanctum
Ascending upward, two well-appointed bedrooms and a flexible family lounge occupy the second floor.
The lounge transforms effortlessly into a bar or entertainment zone, illustrating the studio’s focus on adaptable urban living.

Terrace Level — The Sky Lounge

The palette embraces light beige and white tones, accented with warm wood finishes and tropical green motifs.
