And now, the Dadà Interiors team has turned it into a home that is as personal as it is full of charm, thanks to the studied balance between the original elements, such as the wooden beams or the stone walls, and the new ones, such as the concrete floor. , iron details, and modern furniture.

2. A STATELY APARTMENT THAT BOASTS HISTORY

The history of this central Madrid apartment is obvious. And the fact is that with the reform, carried out by the Aldescubierto studio, it was not only sought to preserve the original elements of this century-old house, but to enhance them. Now they have become a very charming hallmark, like the exposed beams throughout the house or the original wooden columns, which recall the original layout of the floor.

3. A VERY MODERN STATELY LOFT

This loft has a stately skeleton, since the original house treasures more than a century of history, and a modern suit, as well demonstrated by its kitchen, which the decorator Lara Pujol designed as one more piece of furniture in the living room. With the reform, Lara kept everything she could, such as the large balcony windows or the spectacular coffered ceiling.

4. A WALL THAT HOLDS SEVERAL LIVES FRAMES THE LIVING ROOM

The living room was equipped with few pieces but with a great personality, such as the maxi modular sofa – the owner is a movie fan – or the iron fireplace. And it is that the protagonism in the living room falls on the wall, which reveals the different layers of previous paintings.

If the main floor was the stables, the upper floor was the old barn, which now houses the bedrooms. The stone walls have been left untreated but here they have been painted white, creating a picture so peaceful that it is a haven of peace.

7. A DECORATION LINKED TO THE SEA

The interior designer opted for a chromatic base in three tones for the interiors of the house: white, blue, and gray. “Fresh colors linked to the sea”. And it reinforced its fresh character with a careful choice of materials: noble woods, linen, hemp, and natural textures.

8. A HOUSE WITH ROOTS

The history of this house begins with the grandfather of its owner, a century ago. Now, after rehabilitation of more than two years, it proudly exhibits original elements of that time and others of rabid actuality.

9. REBUILD A DREAM OF YOUTH

Of this house, only three walls remained standing.
