COLD COLOR EFFECT, RECEDING WALL
If you go up and down to see the previous photo, you will notice how the brown wall seems to advance if you compare it with the blue one in this photo. This is what happens with warm colors, it gives the feeling that they expand. Therefore, if you have a small space and decide to paint one of the walls with a contrasting color, keep it cold.
COLOR UNIFYING EFFECT
This is another optical trick when we have little space: paint the walls the same color as the furniture so that they blend in. Here we see it with this sofa with chaise longue. The largest pieces are the ones that we must integrate.
When a wainscot runs through an entire room, the feeling of bare walls and emptiness is suddenly avoided. Decorate without losing space, without the need to put a lot of furniture and pictures. Can you imagine how bland this room would be without it? Besides, the white color makes the few pieces that exist stand out and makes the space brighter and wider.
MORE LIGHT EFFECT
Pamper them to the fullest so that you can fully enjoy their light because more light is more of a feeling of space. And also to have the possibility of leaving with your eyes out. How? That the curtains do not cover them. That they are collected on the sides or above. LIGHT FURNITURE EFFECT
Make them light, like the armchair in the photo. Can you imagine how a conventional upholstered floor would look? The more ground you see free, the more sense of space you will have, so it is better to place the heavy pieces on the perimeter. Round and rounded furniture, without edges, are also lighter. Keep it in mind for tables, especially not cover them. An ideal solution is to place a sofa facing the window so that our eyes go away. You can also put a bench underneath, like the one in the photo.

IS WOODEN CEILINGS TOO LOW?
In the mountain apartments (which do not usually have plenty of light and meters) we love the beams for their warmth and their cabin effect but … Yes, we are sorry to say, they reduce space a lot unless they are high ceilings. Look at the next photo, compare it with this one and you will see.
