Modern elegance is more than aesthetics; it is a design philosophy that unites timeless classics with contemporary functionality. This guiding principle shaped the interiors of a 141 m² family home in Jaworzno, designed by Tomasz Kaim and Agnieszka Drużkowska from the studio kaim.work.
The result is a refined dialogue between what is timeless and contemporary, producing a bright, harmonious living space for a young family that values both everyday comfort and sophisticated style.
Living Room and Kitchen – The Heart of the Home
The open-plan living space unites the kitchen, dining, and living areas — the central hub of daily life and the home’s aesthetic showcase.
A palette of light colors — cashmere, off-white, ivory, and warm beige — enhances the sense of spaciousness. A natural herringbone wood floor sets an elegant base, complemented by a soft modular sofa, dark accent tables, and a Cattelan Italia dining table with patterned upholstered chairs.
The kitchen balances functionality and refinement, featuring smooth gray cabinetry, golden handles, and a marble-effect island that doubles as a breakfast spot. Integrated appliances maintain the minimalist elegance.
Guest Toilet – A Dramatic Surprise
Despite its compact size, the guest toilet leaves a lasting impression. Its matte black walls and decorative wall moldings create a bold, theatrical ambiance.
A sculptural Rex Ceramiche sink in quartz composite serves as the centerpiece, while marble-effect porcelain flooring and soft LED lighting transform the space into an intimate, luxurious corner.
Master Bedroom – Subtle Elegance
The master bedroom is designed for tranquility, with a soft palette of beige, cream, and gray. A tall upholstered headboard anchors the composition, while Lee Broom bedside lamps add both light and sculptural detail.
Custom wardrobe cabinetry with ribbed and mirrored fronts expands the perception of space, and a dedicated vanity corner completes the layout.
Main Bathroom – A Home Spa
The main bathroom combines everyday convenience with spa-like luxury. A freestanding bathtub sits by a large window that frames daylight while preserving privacy.
Large quartz-sintered stone slabs with fine veining clad the space, while a walk-in shower with glass walls and Gessi brushed gold fixtures emphasize elegance and consistency.

Child’s Room – Playful and Functional
The children’s bedroom balances creativity and safety. A mezzanine bed, climbing wall, and ladders encourage movement and play, while green accents and wood elements add warmth.
A wooden world map blends education with decoration, while integrated storage solutions ensure tidiness. Carefully selected lighting adapts the atmosphere for play or rest.
Entrance Hall and Second Bathroom – Elegance in Detail
The entrance hall introduces the design language of the home with marble-inspired quartz finishes, decorative moldings, and custom storage. A sculptural wall sconce gives the foyer an artistic touch, while the flooring transitions seamlessly into classic herringbone wood.
The second bathroom contrasts with the guest toilet by remaining light and airy. Subtle beige and ivory tones, ribbed cabinetry, and round pendant lamps create a welcoming, elegant space for guests.
A Home of Harmony and Light
The House in Jaworzno by kaim.work demonstrates how modern elegance can be both timeless and functional. Every space reflects balance, from bold accents to subtle details, growing with the family while preserving a consistent aesthetic.
