Iniala Beach House Interior by A-cero Architects: A Sculptural Vision of Seaside Luxury

  • Project: Interior design of Iniala Beach House
  • Architect: A-cero
  • Location: Thailand, Natai Beach, Phuket
  • Year: 2013
  • Area: 548 m2

Located on the idyllic shores of Natai Beach in Phuket, the Iniala Beach House is one of Southeast Asia’s most exclusive luxury destinations. For this internationally acclaimed project, A-cero Architects was selected to design the interior of two beachfront suites in Villa Bianca, as well as the hotel’s three-Michelin-star restaurant Aziamendi and the chill-out lounge area overlooking the turquoise waters of the Andaman Sea.

A Dialogue Between Lines, Light, and Landscape

A-cero approached the interiors as a sculptural exercise in harmony and contrast. Each of the two suites features its own aesthetic identity, reflecting a yin and yang duality through architectural form:

  • The first room plays with vertical flowing lines, guiding the gaze upward and inward.

  • The second room embraces horizontal curves, enveloping the guest in warmth and calm.

Together, these design strategies evoke a spatial dance of energy and tranquility, rooted in both form and feeling.

Organic Architecture with Local Materials

The bungalows are shell-shaped, echoing the ocean setting. Local wood is used throughout for flooring and wall cladding, seamlessly integrating the rooms with the lush tropical environment outside. Each room contrasts in layout, ceiling treatment, and flooring direction—creating distinct yet complementary atmospheres.

  • Room 1: Light wood horizontal flooring + dark ceiling

  • Room 2: Dark wood vertical flooring + light ceiling

Every detail is deliberate, aimed at creating a natural, serene experience without visual clutter.

Custom Furniture and Functional Art

The interiors are fully furnished with exclusive A-cero-designed pieces, sculpted in high-quality polycarbonate for a seamless appearance. Signature elements include:

  • A bedhead that merges into the ceiling, complete with integrated lighting

  • A dressing table with modular components: mirror, drawers, fridge, lockbox, magazine rack, speakers, and more

  • Bespoke polycarbonate bathroom furnishings that mirror the room’s architectural language

“Each furniture piece is born from the same curves that shape the rooms. It’s not just interior design—it’s interior architecture,” – A-cero

A Complete Aesthetic Environment

From concept to execution, A-cero designed every element—down to the last surface and fixture—to reflect the studio’s vision of fluid, luxurious minimalism. Their work across the suite interiors, Aziamendi restaurant, and outdoor lounge reveals a commitment to experiential design, where every component supports comfort, elegance, and innovation.
