Designed for a family returning seasonally to their hometown, the FG Residence by RMAA – Reinach Mendonça Arquitetos Associados is a stunning example of contemporary Brazilian architecture. Located in Araraquara, this 12,400-square-foot home harmoniously integrates generous indoor spaces with lush, expansive gardens, offering an ideal setting for both relaxation and social gatherings.

A Contemporary Layout That Connects Indoors and Out

The home’s layout revolves around an L-shaped ground floor that frames the main garden and swimming pool, creating a seamless transition between interior and exterior. The open-plan social areas are designed to foster connectivity between the family and the landscape, with wide glass openings, earthy materials, and minimalist detailing.

A pair of gently sloped ramps lead to the upper floor, where private bedrooms and intimate spaces are arranged around a sunlit distribution hall, enhancing the feeling of openness and flow throughout the home.

The architectural identity of FG Residence is instantly recognizable thanks to its floating office volume—a striking metal-clad structure that hovers above the garden, marking the double-height entry portal with sculptural elegance.
