BDSD Boundless Design has completed Azure Heights, a 600 m² dual-residence in Shenzhen’s prestigious Helios Mansion. Designed for Amy and her son’s family, the project vividly interprets the modern concept of “intimate yet separate” living, creating two distinct yet interconnected homes above the city skyline.
Two Generations, Two Design Languages
Azure Heights embodies a portrait of two generations, with each residence reflecting the occupants’ preferences while maintaining harmony across the project.
Unit 01 (Son’s family): A bold and modish urban style infused with Versace’s luxurious aesthetics.
Unit 02 (Amy’s residence): A more restrained luxury, blending modern elegance with delicate details.
This duality symbolizes the balance between family togetherness and individual identity in contemporary urban life.
Unit 01 – Modish Luxury with Baroque Influences
The son’s residence embraces a black-and-gold palette enhanced by Baroque-inspired details:
Versace sofas and a handcrafted Baroque-patterned carpet anchor the living area.
A piano corner framed by a curved ceiling and embossed Versace tiles creates a dramatic yet serene focal point.
The open kitchen, clad in sleek black veneer, exudes understated sophistication.
The master bedroom adopts a calming, cloud-like atmosphere through pure colors and soft finishes.
With floor-to-ceiling glazing, the interiors dissolve into the urban landscape, offering panoramic views and abundant natural light.
Amy’s residence takes a quieter yet equally luxurious path:
Minimalist contours defined by sharp black lines organize the interior.
Bentley furniture and Baxter tables emphasize material richness without extravagance.
A semi-open cloakroom with thin-frame glass doors enhances transparency and reflects natural light.
The Fendi high-back bed offers comfort and intimacy.
In the bathroom, animal-patterned tiles introduce a sense of vitality, while the freestanding tub by the window frames stunning city views day and night.

Founded in 2019 by designers Lin Wenke and Sun Zhengyuan, BDSD Wujie Design is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Huizhou, located on the east coast of China's Greater Bay Area. The studio embodies the region’s pioneering spirit, delivering creative energy through a youthful, forward-thinking, and culturally sensitive design approach.
BDSD Wujie Design provides comprehensive services including space strategy, interior design, aesthetic furnishing, architectural landscaping, lighting design, and material research. Their work spans residential, commercial, cultural, and public spaces. In addition to commissioned projects, the studio has launched several of its own cultural spaces, such as Jianjiancaotang (a tea space), Ueno Bookstore, and Pingkong Shuzao, a material research lab.
