The N26 Residence, designed by WARchitect, represents the pinnacle of modern architecture in Bangkok. Located in the peaceful Khlong Kum district, this luxurious private home spans 750 sq.m. of sophisticated design and innovative use of space. The large 282 sq.w. plot allows for an expansive layout while maintaining a harmonious connection between the home’s interior and the surrounding natural landscape.
A Unique Architectural Concept: Resort-Like Elegance
Inspired by resort living, the N26 Residence features a distinctive L-shaped layout that seamlessly merges the upper and lower levels, creating an open, airy atmosphere throughout the home. The clever integration of corner windows maximizes natural light, offering sweeping views of the garden and outdoor spaces. Multiple landscaped gardens around the house add a variety of refreshing perspectives, making each corner of the home feel like a serene escape.
Dual Access and Functional Layout
The residence is designed with practicality in mind, featuring dual access points from both the front and rear. The rear access provides convenient parking for up to four cars, while the front access allows for a pedestrian approach to the house. Upon walking through the main gate, visitors are greeted with an expansive view of the entire home, where the bold, angular design takes center stage.
The defining feature of the home’s architecture is the striking C-shaped box, constructed with a steel C-channel frame. This modern design element creates a sharp, clean aesthetic, while the interior of the box is lined with warm teak wood, offering a balance between contemporary style and natural warmth. The ground floor C-shaped box houses the office and gym, both with stunning views of the pool and garden. The master bedroom on the second floor extends 6 meters outward, hovering above the pool, creating a unique and striking silhouette.
Expansive Living Spaces and Stunning Views
The main living room of the N26 Residence features large sliding glass doors that open fully to allow breezes and natural light to fill the space. The front yard is minimalistic, with a neat grass lawn and stone garden, creating a sense of serenity that complements the sleek, rectangular shape of the pool. The backyard is designed with a natural landscape, including a waterfall and lush plant life, creating a peaceful retreat that harmonizes with the home’s overall aesthetic.
The interior of the house continues the theme of natural materials, with real wood finishes throughout. The living room features bookmatch stone panels, particularly around the TV wall, where the double-height space creates a grand and elegant atmosphere. Carefully selected stone slabs create a seamless, continuous pattern, adding a sense of sophistication to the design.
