Reform of a 60’s House in Barcelona

in the new construction, the forms of distribution and finishes are changing, it is in the reforms where we truly see how the client seeks something very different from what exists, without giving up the location and it is these studies that are efficiently commissioned of homework.

To date, the apartments have been built very divided, with small bedrooms and useless corridors, which were not only dead square meters but blocked our wonderful natural light.

Imagine this house in its origins, it was a ground floor in a very shared and dark building, full of rooms and with little ventilation, it was used as a medical office. And now you can spot the renovation and the home upgrade.

A few walls down later rearranged rooms and almost half of the house for the fully open common areas, and this is the result. A magnificent, bright and spacious space in the center of Barcelona, with a terrace, perfect for a family.

The decoration is simple and elegant, with some outstanding design pieces (the CH07 Shell Chair by Carl Hansen or the PH 5 Mini Pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen, etc.), letting the finishes and architecture shine.

What do you think? Phenomenal right?
