Mid-Century Modern Decor In Your Home, Sweet Home

Despite its size, 64 mΒ² (which is normal on the other hand for central Stockholm), and its age, this apartment is very well cared for and above all perfectly decorated. It is a calculated decoration, practical but full of decorative elements that say a lot about who lives there.

It is very noticeable that its inhabitants have a great taste for design in general, the Nordic in particular, and from a certain period, the 50-the 60s of the last century, of the style known as mid-century modern.

Both the choice of furniture, accessories, and art and the colors of the walls, some as intense and solid as that blue in the bedroom, give them away. There are many straight lines, typical of this style, and loose details of color. Look, for example, how orange is present in the bedroom without standing out excessively, it forms a magnificent combination with blue, not in vain they are complementary colors.

Although we see high-heeled shoes and some garments that could be feminine in the hall closet, we are almost sure that a man lives in this apartment, we would even dare to venture that he is an architect or an engineer, from his books, pictures, and toys.

What do you imagine? Look at the accessories and decorative elements and tell us what you think. Do you like the decoration? What piece of design do you like the most?
