one-aftr

one-aftr is a Seoul-based architecture and design studio founded by Joon Ma and Ryu Ahn. The practice explores what it means to create a “collective good experience” in space, using the ambiguous notion of “good” as a design driver. Their work spans new construction, adaptive reuse, interiors, scenography and installations. With each project the studio considers the economic, historical and cultural context, deploying architecture as a medium of inquiry as much as production. Projects range from café and pavilion interventions to full-scale buildings, all characterised by thoughtful elaboration of form, material and atmosphere.
