WORKac
WORKac is an architecture and design studio based in New York City, co-founded by Amale Andraos and Dan Wood. They believe architecture can meaningfully engage with social and environmental issues, creating projects that enhance community, sustainability, and public life.
They undertake work on a range of scales and typologies — including cultural institutions, residential design, public buildings, mixed-use developments, and urban design. Their designs aim to integrate interior and exterior space, respond to context, and bring ecological sensitivity into the built environment.
Through research, experimentation, and collaboration, WORKac pushes boundaries of design: transforming ideas into architecture that is not only visually compelling but socially relevant and environmentally responsible. Their approach is rooted in creativity, rigor, and a concern for how spaces are inhabited and experienced.
