VAGA
VAGA Arquitetura is a Brazilian studio rooted in the concept of vazio (emptiness)—the space of possibility and latent meaning. The practice treats absence not as a void, but as a field of potential, where architecture activates context, events, and shifting uses. Over 10 years of operation, VAGA has earned recognition (e.g. ArchDaily’s Building of the Year) with projects spanning residential, commercial, and cultural typologies. Each commission is approached with a sensitivity to light, form, and narrative, seeking to give voice to what is undefined and to balance functionality with poetic spatial gestures.
