Symbiosis Designs Ltd. is a leading architecture and design consultancy based in Amman, Jordan. Founded in 1991 by senior architect Khalid Nahhas, the firm has gained international recognition for its innovative, alternative architectural solutions that challenge conventional design norms while responding to cultural and environmental contexts.

Khalid Nahhas holds a Bachelor’s degree in Geographic and Economic Planning from the University of Victoria (1985) and a graduate degree in Architecture from the University of British Columbia (1989). He began his professional career in Vancouver at Spaceworks Architects before establishing his own practice in Jordan. His talent and vision were recognized early when he received the Cityscape Young Architect Award in 2002.
