MAKHNO is a renowned multidisciplinary studio specializing in architecture, interior design, and ceramics. With a distinctive aesthetic that fuses eco-conscious principles, contemporary art, and traditional craftsmanship, the studio has carved out a signature style recognized globally.

Founded in 2003 by Serhiy Makhno—an accomplished architect, designer, ceramist, and art collector—MAKHNO Studio has become a powerful voice for Ukrainian culture on the international stage. The studio’s work has earned more than 80 prestigious global awards, including the Red Dot Design Award – Best of the Best, The International Property Awards, Architecture MasterPrize, IDA Awards, and Restaurant & Bar Design Awards.

With over 600 completed projects across 25 countries, MAKHNO's portfolio spans private residences, apartments, commercial spaces, museums, and cultural institutions. The studio’s unique approach blends futuristic architectural forms with ancient Ukrainian techniques, creating spaces that are not just functional, but deeply artistic. Many of their designs are considered art objects in their own right.

The studio operates its own ceramics workshop, where master artisans—descendants of artistic dynasties—employ time-honored, handcrafted techniques combined with modern innovation.
