OFFICE MUTO, founded in 2018 in Paris by architect Alexandre Pavlidis, operates across France, Greece, Switzerland and Italy. With a rich academic background and prior experience at architecture firms such as Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) and David Chipperfield Architects, the studio places equal emphasis on built work and theoretical research.
Its design philosophy emphasises the “silent and ordinary elements” of architecture — creating spaces that may be understated but full of meaning, built to endure and age gracefully. Through refined materiality, clear composition and contextual responsiveness, OFFICE MUTO delivers architecture that feels quiet yet strong, rooted in place yet open to life.
