DARP – De Arquitectura y Paisaje

DARP (De Arquitectura y Paisaje) is a multidisciplinary architecture and landscape design practice based in Medellín, Colombia, dedicated to projects that integrate architectural form with landscape, urban context, and cultural meaning. Founded by architects Jaime Eduardo Cabal and Jorge Emilio Buitrago, the studio approaches design as a dialog between environment, community, and program, creating thoughtful solutions across residential, public, institutional, and cultural scales. DARP’s work has been recognized with national and international awards, including top honors at the Bienal de Paisaje de México and the Bienal de Arquitectura de Quito. The studio’s portfolio includes impactful works such as Tropicario at the Bogotá Botanical Garden and educational and campus architecture that emphasize sustainability, place-making, and social engagement.
