Cazú Zegers Arquitectura
Cazú Zegers is a Chilean architecture studio led by architect Cazú Zegers, operating at the intersection of architecture, territorial intelligence, and ethnoarchitecture. The practice engages multiple scales—from object and building to landscape and region—through a creative methodology grounded in geopoetry and local identity.
Zegers’ work is distinguished by a “light and precarious” approach: architecture that dialogically weaves ancestral techniques, local materials (especially timber), and expressive form. The studio emphasizes sensitivity to context, the poetic potential of territory, and an ethics of sustainability.
Projects span residential, institutional, and cultural typologies, grounded in a commitment to socially and environmentally responsive design. Through research, teaching, and built work, Cazú Zegers seeks to cultivate architecture that is rooted in place, evocative, and deeply human.
