Bancaù Architectes is an architecture studio located in Nice, France, driven by a philosophy of raisonnée design rooted in regional identity, sustainability, and material honesty. The team pursues architecture that engages its terroir—drawing on local stone, earth, and bio-sourced materials—while embracing climate sensitivity and simplicity of form.
Operated by three architects with complementary backgrounds, the atelier integrates design, fabrication, and craft: their workspace hosts a model-making studio, ceramics workshop, and open design labs. From project inception to detailing, Bancaù emphasizes humility, durability, and the poetic overlap of building and environment. Their work speaks of balance: between restraint and richness, tradition and innovation, utility and atmosphere.
