Instagram recently have renewed its headquarters in San Francisco, after which the doors were wide open to the public, which all look forward to consider where it maintains one of the most popular mobile applications today. As inspiration for the interior of the new offices serve one of the filters on Instagram application – Instagram Mayfair. The offices are filled with natural, light and gentle cream, white and shades of wood. The furniture is in retro style with metal accented details that underline its modernity and creates a pleasant harmony.
Developed by local practitioners Geremia Design, Instagram’s headquarters are situated in San Francisco’s South Park neighborhood. The design team brought together a range of retro furnishings and combined it with a relaxed office environment in line with the social media company’s branding. The space provides both a welcoming and intimate setting thanks to a healthy dose of natural light. Natural materials like wood and leather are complimented and accented by the use of reflective metallic surfaces. Naturally, an impressive collection of vintage cameras acts as the focal point of the project, reiterating Instagram’s ethos and brand language.
