This month is the perfect time to pick the autumn fruit and prepare your garden for the upcoming winter. With the first rays of spring sun it will be much easier to bring the garden in perfect condition, especially if you have previously well prepared. Here are some tips that will help you in your work.
Remove all rotting fruit trees around the ground because it can attract various pests. Remove the diseased leaves, but be careful not to put your compost, and discard them.
Clean the one-year-old plants and weeds before the seed fall. Cover the ground around the trunk to keep its quality using weeds (without seeds), grass, leaves, straw. Cut out the parts of the plants that represent multi-ideal gathering place for snails and other pests.
Leave all the dry flowers, decorative grasses and seeds that look nice but are also food for the birds. Make a compost bin. Add fresh herb plants and compost and cover it until spring. Remove dead branches from trees and flowers. Cut all sick branches and do not forget to put them in the compost. Continue with watering the trees and shrubs until the ground is not frozen. So, find a free time and start to work!
