Podium’s New Office by Cory Sistrunk

Podium is a software company that helps businesses build brand trust by facilitating customer interaction and feedback. Of course, their own business has grown quite a lot, in fact, they are the 13th fastest-growing in the country, so they found themselves in the need of another office. But not just any old kind of office. Podium wanted to have a true startup office that will provide its employees with all of the comfort that they need to be satisfied while taking care of their responsibilities. To do so, they hired Cory Sistrunk, a designed with workspaces for the likes of Apple, Google, Adobe and more in his portfolio.

With a “what happens when sneakerheads create a billion-dollar tech startup” type vibe, Podium’s new office feels straight from the pages of lifestyle magazine that reflects the active and eclectic culture of the millennial worker.

In August, the startup (13th fastest-growing in the country) opened a new 125,000-square-foot, five-story office in Lehi, Utah. Inspiration for the new space came from places like the Bodega in Boston, LA’s Stussy, Union and Undefeated, KITH’s flagship in Soho, Kinfolk, and the Boro Hotel in Brooklyn. Custom art installations from street and modern artists such as Stefan Marx and Johanna Burai are featured throughout the space. The office was designed by Cory Sistrunk, who has designed workspaces for the likes of Apple, Adobe, Nike, GE, Dropbox, Google and The North Face.

Features of the office include:

  • A 7,000 sq ft gym, complete with CrossFit equipment, free weights, treadmills, stationary bikes and space for yoga and pilates classes along with a locker room. This also includes onstaff CrossFit, pilates and yoga instructors.
  • A high-end soft serve and Dole Whip station at the reception desk.
  • An outdoor regulation-sized pickleball court, multiple spikeball courts, a bike storage area and maintenance shop.
  • A 5th floor designed as a bike shop, which pays homage to Podium starting out in an attic space above a bike shop in Provo, Utah.
