Small Balconies And Terraces That Simply Fairish For The Summer (Part I)

A SMALL RURAL TERRACE WITH VIEWS OF THE COUNTRYSIDE

This porch-like terrace enjoys privileged views of the countryside. In addition, being covered, it is perfect to enjoy in summer or during sunny winter afternoons, with a blanket.

A CHILL OUT WITH A BENCH ON SITE

This relaxation corner has been used with two workbenches as a sofa and, at the vertex, a small table has been enabled.

A TERRACE WITH A VERY CAPABLE SUMMER DINING ROOM

The decorator took advantage of the elongated floor of this terrace with views of the Costa Brava to enable a complete, very capable summer dining room. To make the most of the space, he opted for a large rectangular table and surrounded the perimeter of the terrace with large planters with plants, to give a feeling of green and make a terrace with gray and stone floors less harsh.

A SMALL BUT CHARMING URBAN TERRACE

Terraces are always a must, but in a big city, they are a luxury. Therefore, even if it is small, like this one, it is worth taking advantage of it. Here, the design studio has taken advantage of it with a pair of light armchairs, two easy-to-move side tables, and many plants, which give freshness and a feeling of nature.

DINING ROOM OR OUTDOOR LOUNGE?

If your outdoor space is small, you will have to decide if you want to decorate it as an outdoor living room or a dining room with the appropriate furniture. There is an intermediate option that will make you comfortably extend the tabletops or use the chairs as armchairs: a high and narrow table that leaves more room for comfortable chairs with armrests in which to have a good time reading.

A BALCONY OVERLOOKING THE BAY OF LA CONCHA

This balcony is tiny, but its shortage of meters is more than compensated for by its unbeatable views of the islet of Santa Clara, in the bay of San Sebastián. So that nothing obstructs the views, the railing is made of glass.

A WATCHTOWER TO THE MEDITERRANEAN

This terrace will not be many meters, but it is a true watchtower over the sea. Its plant, long, narrow, and an “L”, makes it difficult to take advantage of, but the decorator did not want to give up its wonderful views, so she has set up two areas: one for relaxation, with sun loungers, and a small lounge. , with a sofa.

A MINI TERRACE FOR TWO

This little terrace shows that, no matter how small your exit to the outside, if you have one, take advantage of it! Today there are many solutions for small spaces. A 50 x 50 folding table and some canvas director’s chairs, also folding, are light and very comfortable options to make the most of this space.
