Escape to Paradise – A Vacation Home with Stunning Ocean Views!

Inspired by the gray-blue of the sea, the stormy gray of the sky and granite, the beige of the sand, the red-pink of the salt marshes, and the white of the spray… This holiday home merges with the Atlantic as it walks and enters its windows. A homecoming for this son of salt workers who went abroad and has never forgotten the smells and colors of his childhood.

The Atlantic in sight

The curtains are not simply decorative window coverings, but they extend across the entire width of the living room, creating a translucent barrier that lets in light while maintaining the privacy of the house. The custom-made sconces have glass that ripples like water, while the dining room has mirrors and wooden panels that create a sense of space rather than just being a pathway. The sea is a constant presence, visible from the beach-facing windows and even from the kitchen thanks to the layout. Even if you turn away from it, the ocean is reflected in the tall mirrors in the living and dining rooms.

A haven of subtly luxurious comfort

The owners have decided to anchor themselves in the south of Brittany and revamp their house with the help of architects and decorators. Their goal was to integrate nature into the design of the house. The renovation involved a complete overhaul, except for the facades which remained the same. The result is a comfortable and luxurious home with a refined interior. The use of pine and blond oak gives the space a warm and cozy feel. Despite its elegance, the interior is not overly showy, with many subtle details adding to its overall charm.
