Great concept but how on earth did Surfer's Paradise make it onto this list?? I am Australian and there are MUCH better, more beautiful, cooler, more interesting beaches here! Surfer's is tacky and touristy and not really exceptional in any other way. If you want AMAZING Australian beaches start with:
Wineglass Bay, Freycinet National Park, Tasmania
Bay of Fires, Tasmania
Hyams Beach, Jervis Bay, New South Wales (whitest sand in the world)
Cable Beach, Broome, Western Australia
Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas, Queensland
... and several thousand more!
