Alphington Residence by InForm

Open space, large windows, light filled rooms, great architecture – this is the brief description of the Alphington Residence, a luxury, modern home designed by the Australian architecture studio InForm.
The single story residence is located in an Alphington suburb in Victoria, Australia and stands out from all of the other homes on the street.
The main concept of this house are the two halves that it is made of, but, let’s see what the architects had to say about the design.

From the architects: “A house of two halves, the two-storey ‘Quad’ inspired front portion takes advantage of park views from the first floor master bedroom and lounge. A single storey pavilion-like structure accommodates the kitchen, meals and living area at the rear. A double sided fireplace separates the meals and living space, where exposed concrete blocks mimic the external piers. Generous outdoor living includes a large loggia and kitchen overlooking the rear garden and pool.”
