Creating beautiful and functional interior of the kitchen is work with a lot of effort, time and money. It is therefore essential to find sufficient time for planning and choosing quality materials, furniture and equipment. Below we have offered some crucial design elements and furnishings that can affect the comfort and practicality of the kitchen. We will try to explain how to avoid some of the mistakes and how to correct them effectively, if you’ve already made them.
1. Inappropriate Floor Covering
In the kitchen always use reliable, practical and durable material, such as granite or high-class tiles. If you still want to have a wooden floor, divide the kitchen into two zones – for that area in which you cook, put another more durable material, and on the floor in the dining area, can use laminate flooring with high class.
2. Low Light In the Work Area
Without proper lighting along the kitchen counter, where are located the sink and the stove, kitchen’s work is much more complicated and unpleasant. If you want to improve the quality of the lighting in the work area, you can add energy-saving LED strip that can be mount directly over the counter. 4. Nonfunctional Furniture
The kitchen island is a great addition to the spacious kitchens where space is not a problem. Basically, the islands serve as a place for cooking (with sink and worktop), as a place for storing various kitchen accessories and appliances, in addition to the main dining area or be able to collect two or more people dining.
