The infinity edge pool or more commonly known as just infinity pool is a swimming pool that produces a visual effect of the water extending to the horizon. This effect makes it look like the water is vanishing on one edge of the pool to infinity. This effect is created by making one of the edges a bit shorter than the others so that the water can overflow and make it invisible.
The infinity pools are a sign of luxury and they can always be found in luxury resorts or mansions, and almost always they are constructed on the edge, for example, on the edge of a hilltop or on the edge of a terrace or roof. But that, is what makes them hard to construct, because they must be built to be really strong so that the walls, especially the one facing the edge can hold the weight of the water and also to be protected from potential landslides.
